For approximately 2 centuries now, we have celebrated a festival of singing, dancing and music here in Trinidad & Tobago. In more modern times now, it is a fixed and well-loved tradition that we celebrate the Trinidad & Tobago Carnival for the two days immediately before Ash Wednesday. Notably, we have numerous pre-carnival fete celebrations, but the Monday and Tuesday (Carnival Monday & Tuesday) before Ash Wednesday are the big days.
