Lil Jon is known to the hip-hop world as the King of Crunk, a hit-making rapper and producer. Just in time for Trini Carnival 2008, he teamed up with fellow rapper Pitbull and Trinidad’s own Machel Montano for “Defense (The Anthem)”, a soca-flavored dance tune that rocked carnival itself and clubs from Port-of-Spain to New York.
Now in 2009, with his appetite wet by the success of “Defense”, Lil’ Jon is going for it once more, collaborating once again with Machel and Pitbull for “Floor on Fire”, a tune that they plan to take worldwide to show everyone just how amazing Trinidad Carnival is. The video for “Floor on Fire” will be shot during the upcoming Trinidad carnival 2009 celebrations, and will be featured on his upcoming album – Crunk Rock – which should be released later this year.
